POSITIVE REINFORCEMENT ANTI-JAIL PROGRAM

Under the Star! Int'l and the EVERGREEN division has a solid commitment to you and the entire community:  Prevention & education.  That meas in every aspect; from STD's to going to jail.

The word REVOLUTION in Webster's Dictionary reads: "a sudden, radical, or complete change."  REVOLUTION is designed to do just that...give you a total REVOLUTION.  This is a six-week intense, extreme, positive program aimed at any individual who has not been to jail before and is definately living on the edge.  This is a spiritual based, professional lead program to open the eyes of any person who is only one foot from breaking the the law and landing in jail.  REVOLUTION will increase your mental and physical awareness of the harms, dangers, and legal baggage attached to the nightmare event of arrest and being placed in jail.

Working with local and state authorities, law enforcement agencies, judges, and community organizations, Under the Star! Int'l has developed this unique and much-needed program of challenge and awareness called REVOLUTION.  Recommendations for candidates into the program come from services, church groups, law enforcement agencies, community clubs, family, and friends.  REVOLUTION is designed to capture and rescue the individual who is on his way to establishing a record of local jail arrests and could lead to extended incarceration in a state penitentiary.  We need to prevent this action.  We need to educate people and assist them in living an orderly and productive life for themselves and those around them.

Candidates for our acclaimed REVOLUTION program are interviewed and placed into age and gender groups.  The entire REVOLUTION program is a total of nine (9) weeks.  A pre-entry interview is conducted and consent papers reviewed and signed.  Now, we begin the REVOLUTION.

Each candidate is now afforded the full treatment.  Based on the candidate's background and character, each will be arrested with a "mock-up" warrant, handcuffed, and transported in a law enforcement vehicle to the respected facility.  Candidate now becomes and actual inmate: presented to booking, searched, fingerprinted, photographed, I.D'ed, dressed out, and assigned jail housing.  Arrest charge is based on information received during the pre-interview process.  Our REVOLUTION inmate is now placed in a jail living space for a full 48 hours.  During their 48-hour incarceration, the REVOLUTION inmates are all housed together in one said location, fed jail meals, must abide by all rules of that facility, and are supervised by the jail correctional officers.  Housed within each group are Under the Star! Int'l volunteers/staff.  These are individuals who have previously been incarcerated and are now on probation, striving to live a better lide.  These volunteers/staff members are with our REVOLUTION inmates for the full 48 hours and share with them the stories and experiences of being behind bars.

When our "inmates" complete their 48 hours of incarceration, they are now required to continue the nine-week program, with nine-week intensive group counseling sessions held each week for two hours.  Group counseling session topics include:
